Superguns!

Here's a couple of superguns from opposite ends of the spectrum. Loaded and simple.

Lots of stuff on this little item:
- NeoBitz encoder = component, S-Video, and composite video outputs
- RGB adjustment pots
- stereo/mono switch
- attenuated audio (for line level)
- coin buttons
- test button (red one)
- sync separator switch = optimizes compatibility with more JAMMA boards
- CPS2/CPS3 kick harness! For 6-button action
- Bob Roberts heavy wired JAMMA harness
- control ports wired for Neo Geo controllers, extra button for Atomiswave, and kick buttons for CPS2/3

Portable Atari 2600 - Phoenix! - $300 shipped priority, insured, tracked
One of the portable Atari systems made by Ben Heckindorn. It's basically new as I've played it once for 10 minutes.
You can read up on the details at his site here:

Region-modded PC Engine Duo-R - SOLD
A nice little PC Engine Duo-R I've modded with a region switch. For the uninitiated, that is a switch that allows you to play both US and JP HuCards on this one system! This system will play all HuCards, all CDs, and all SuperCDs. And if you get an Arcade Card Duo (which I have available), you can play the ArcadeCDs too! The only PC Engine or Turbo games you can't play are the 5 SuperGrafx titles. The system is very slightly yellowed as they nearly all are, the Duo-R native controller is more yellowed, and it comes with a DuoTap and an original PC Engine controller too. The power supply and AV cables are original as well. Works great, no sound issues whatsoever.
$230 shipped priority, insured, tracked

Region-modded TurboGrafx-16 with CD and Arcade Card PRO
The original way to play! Here is a region modded TG16 with the CD Rom attachment, proper power supply, 2 controllers and TurboTap. The case is very unusual in that the pins on the back are the original ones and fully intact! Usually you will find someone jamming paperclips back there. And included is the Arcade Card Pro in near mint condition!
This setup will allow you to play ANY US or Japanese HuCard, CD, SuperCD, or ARCADE CD!! The fact that the TG16 is region modded allows you to use the Japanese Arcade Card Pro on it. The Arcade Card Pro acts as both the System 3.0 Card needed to play SuperCD games AND the card needed to play Arcade CDs! Everything here is in excellent shape and works great!

Boxed PC Engine SuperCDRom2 and optional PCE
Beautiful condition attachment that allows you to play both CDs and SuperCDs without the need of a System card of any kind! You can attach this to the SuperGrafx, PC Engine, or CoreGrafx systems. Even the LT with an adapter! You can see in the pics that the original power supply and mini cable are both included and that the styrofoam is minty. The box would be easily near mint if not for the tape applied and partially removed on the top flap. The serials on the unit and the box match too!
These rarely show up on eBay and are quite pricey when they do.
If you want, I will sell an original PC Engine with controller and AV cable with the system for only $25 more! (No, I am NOT selling the PCE itself for $25, so please don't ask!)
$175 shipped priority, insured, tracked

S-Video modded Genesis 3 systems (and one 50/60 Hz and JP/US modded)

Shipping prices are for priority, insured, tracked
System#1 With flush mounted violet LED - $60 System#1, pic 2
System#2 - $70
System#3 - $55
System#4 - $60

Truly complete Boxed Bonk 3 HuCard!
A true beauty and very rare. This was my own from my collection, but recently upgraded to a sealed version myself. So on the market! This one is NM in everyway. The HuCard is MINT, no insertion marks on it. Manual, tray are NM/M. The box is as good as it gets with the minor edge wear shown in the pics. Looking to get $150 shipped. Sold my other one on eBay for that before shipping and in less nice condition.

PGM MoBo
Super clean and looks new. No marks on the plastic at all and fires up perfectly.
$115 shipped priority, insured, tracked.
MoBo

PGM The Gladiator cart
Somehow, I ended up with two of these :spock:
Cart is in excellent shape as is the label, which is curling up on the ends as happens to all PGM carts eventually.
Not sure on price as I got this a while ago, so shoot an offer. I know how much is too little so don't feel free to lowball me or I'll have the roker kill you.
The Gladiator

A NEW boxed PC Engine Duo Battery/Charger pack
Unfamiliar with the Duo Battery? Fits on the back of the unit, snapping into the slots on your Duo so it can be used on the road! And this is the complete pack with the battery and charger (a separate battery-only pack was sold too). The box may be worn, but the units are still sealed! I'm not sure of the value (have an idea), so I'm taking offers on this really unusual item!

Boxed TurboBooster: $35 shipped
This is complete and boxed. Even comes with the original AV cables! Bagged too. Manual seems to have never been opened from the bag. Box has a tear in one end flap, but is EX otherwise.

TurboBooster PLUS: $35 shipped
In VG/EX condition and working fine. For the uninitiated, this sticks on the back of your TurboGrafx-16 and allows you to use regular RCA audio/video like the TurboBooster, but this also has memory built-in to save games like Neutopia.

Not as much as I'd like :(

I'm hoping my DB15 extension cables arrive today so I can finally try out Dreadedfist's joysticks. Unfortunately one of them came with a scratch on the plexi so I need to ship it back to him. Waited on sending it back since I wanted to make sure the buttons were wired correctly.

Metal Slug 3 and 4 couldn't ask for a hotter momma, though

One minor question. When I use component video, the colors are crystal sharp (so crisp it almost makes Last Blade 2 look bad since the pixeling is so evident =D), but when I use S-Video, there's a lot of rainbowing around the edges, especially around text. Is this something inherent to S-Video?

I find that performance is heavily dependent on your TV. I have a consolized 2-slot here that I did for someone that worked perfectly for me then and again now, but he has a sync issue with component on his TV, that goes away after first starting in S-Video. Kenny is having sync issue on his TV it seems too with consolized boards, yet I've never heard of sync issues with a supergun. So probably it's your TV. You could try using the pots to reduce the brightness which may be what's causing the rainbowing on your TV.

Hmm, that could be it, especially since this TV (36" WEGA) was dropped (don't ask). After seeing how good NG and CPS2 look on component though, the only reason I'd go back to S-Video is if I have to bring my gear to a place that doesn't have component.

Thanks for the clarification. The picture settings on the TV are a bit wacky too as the people who use them are schizoid on picture contrast and whatnot.

Dean, I notice you keep trying to sell the Duo Battery Set. Have you ever got in one of those really rare Duo monitors? It kind of defeats the purpose of the battery set without the monitor....

Yep, I do have it (x2).

The battery set is really a collectable. I mean, sure, you can use it, but it ain't the most practical thing in the world to bring in a car.

That's a really nice Supergun that you built & $325 isn't a bad price either. :D

Maybe someday you can build me a special Supergun that plays CPS2, CPS3 & the Atomiswave motherboard to play on my 52-inch Toshiba TV. :D

Have you been able to consolize the Atomiswave motherboard yet?. :)

Here is a free bump

I'm guessing you got my payment for the supergun. Just let me know when you've sent it out, Dean.

Jon

PS: That portable Atari is awesome. Makes me wonder if anyone ever made a portable SNES...that I would actually play.:)

Got it and it goes out shortly.

If you check www.benheck.com, you'll see lots of things made portable.

But no PCE.

Dean, can I ask you (since you aren't finishing up that 'how to' for superguns ;)) what is that sleeve that you use over the jamma harness. Some type of shrink tubing?

Thanks

Yeah, yeah, I'll finish the web page soon enough.
I can't remember the exact name, but I got it from PartsExpress and Jameco. It's braided wire sleeves if I remember correctly.
