I know you are going to have a hard time accepting this because you have some rather harsh preconceived notions of the outside world, but I am neither uncultured nor am I uneducated. I have a degree in Anthropology which means that I studied the cultures for four years....and will be studying it some more when I start graduate school.

No one here cares how rich you are...and we make fun of it since you feel the inherent need to flaunt it whenever possible. The fact that you are in a very, very small percentage of people in an upper socioeconomic class within your country doesn't impress me, nor do I feel threatened by your wealth.

Now, if you notice...I was joking around with Tool... I originally posted my first reply in the same spirit of jest. Lighten up my friend...and lose the attitude....it just plain sucks in all cultures.

I know that I'm fighting alone on this, but I've got the courage to defend my stuff. Many of my people go to your country to search for a better life, and they arrive in really pittyful conditions. Thank god I'll never have to do that, and thus, I can defend my culture, and don't need to kneel down to beg for a job at your country, nor ignore stupid attacks from you.

I wanted to let you know about my wealth (intellectual and economic) so you can understand that elites exist around the world. So you can erase the stereotype image of my people. Hell, I'm even speaking in perfect English with you!!!

The reason I can "make fun" of other cultures...including my own...is that I am secure with my identity.

Your Mexocentric philosophy doesn't fly...and guess what, proclaiming yourself the elite in any country is just asking to be knocked down a peg.
