Thanks for taking a look at the Neo Geo Master List. This document is a 100% comprehensive list of all known released and unreleased titles developed for the different versions (MVS / AES / CD) of the Neo Geo 24-bit hardware. Included in this list is data on what titles were officially released by the various branches of SNK over the three formats, including Japanese and English AES cart distinctions, meg counts, NGH numbers, copyright dates, developer information, English / Japanese title distinctions, release dates and links to fan reviews. The "year" column is the copyright date, which may differ from when the game was actually released. At the end of the list is a compilation of information for rumored titles and those which do not fit within the SNK-assigned NGH sequence. SNK Playmore officially stopped supporting the Neo Geo hardware with the July 2004 release of Samurai Spirits Zero Special on AES, but third party independent support continues. The list is maintained and was created by John Thacker (Geddon_jt). The most up-to-date official version of this list is always at www.neo-geo.com.

UPDATE NOTES 8/11 - The final Neo Geo AES title is released and, in grand SNK fashion, comes ripe with discussion and debate regarding the censorship of the promised fatalities. SNK Playmore has announced that they are recalling the cartridge (both US and Japanese version) to be reprogrammed to correct some minor bugs and implement "lessened" fatalities. Days after the recall was announced, some fans have discovered a way to access the full fatalities in the original release through the use of a specialized BIOS. As a result, the fans are left having to choose between two versions of a game, one with full fatalities that you must have a specialized Neo to access or another with lessened fatalities and perhaps no way to access the original, unmodified fatalities (and the collectors have to spend $600+ to get both versions). What a mess! The NGH-sorted version of the list is undergoing maintenance and will again be available with the next update. Also, we are currently working on assembling a catalogue of the CD titles sorted by territory which will hopefully be available soon.

With your help, the Neo Geo Master List can continue to grow. As time passes, the quest to obtain the "lost games" and information surrounding the missing and unreleased games becomes even more important. The longer we wait, the greater we risk this information and these games being lost forever.
