I ask because they found a buyer for them at that price? Said that he was in the SD area and was willing to pay $2k to $4k for each cab. I heard from them because I was offered the cabs.

Hell no but then again that price would be cheaper than importing one yourself. I bet they're in good condition being stealthlurker.

I don't see why not. Knowing Stealth, he probably kept them really clean and fixed whatever needed to be fixed.

I was in communication with his dad and uncle because I knew Julius and sent condolences when he died. So they knew I was interested and was sent those pics from the original post.

They'll probably ask 6k for the Megalo judging by those prices.

Some of those "small" cabs might be the ones he had custom made.

Either way this is going to be a huge mess and take years to go through. The misc. shit like flyers, posters, signs etc. are going to be almost impossible to price considering how obscure a lot of it is and how many things he had custom made.

I’m sure at least 10 dudes who don’t post here but lurk for scoops have already emailed his sister to take that home cart collection off her hands.

can you imagine the offers?

“most of these are good. Very good. You can probably get a good price on this sengoku 2001, and Rage of the Dragons; I think you can ask for $200k for the entire collection… but this metal slug is not expensive, and I’d like to take it off you for $500 just to replace my own which isn’t in as good condition…”

I bet Tonk could help be a middle man to help sell the stuff? I couldn’t imagine the amount of stuff either.
He was already in the RIP thread trying to pull his old "community" shtick.

"Me and the OG homies are gonna make sure the market leeches aint gonna get near this stuff" or something to that extent.

Negative.

Just because he owned these cabs doesn’t put some Midas touch on them. Gonna be real with you guys- he turned them on for pics and turned them back off. There’s no magical quality on them because he owned them.

Guys, let this be a wake up call and make sure you have your shit sorted so your families don’t have to deal with situations like this.

DUDE You, guys are spot on!!!!!!! When I refused to go on a bidding war with the buyer and told them he could have it, his dad or uncle (not sure) said "Ok thanks for your interest in JULIUS' PREMIUM COLLECTION". (HIS WORDS!!!!!!)

Well, what would fairer prices be? I have no clue.
It’s a crapshoot, we don’t know what work has been done to them if any.

The real elephant in the room when selling all that stuff of his is the “custom” stuff. Call it what you want, it’s a fancy word for bootlegs. Especially with his aes stuff, a buyer can say “if he’s got this as a conversion, who’s to say the rest isn’t?” Lot of those flyers and posters he claimed were legit, a few people have pointed out that they were not.

No disrespect to the dead but his family is going to have a hell of a time sorting through all that stuff. It’s one of the main reasons I’m going through and selling a lot of my console stuff now.

The above quote is probably why they're pretty much worth the asking price. Most of his stuff will only appreciate in value so I'm gathering there's no real rush to sell it all off.
The only items they'll have difficulty moving quick is all the non hardware items but again, what's the rush?
I would have no reservations buying any of his items,I KNOW it's top tier grade.
Remember, the custom items he commissioned to be created for him are "one of kind" so they could fetch big money as well.

Was stealthlurker that old? Or did something happen?

Edit: he was a bored rich old dude. That makes sense.
