"The North American and European releases of the game removed the screen rotation mode"

Do you have the ability to try the JP ver?
I don’t see it on my loaded HD, I didn’t load it but I assume I’d just put the iso with the rest of the games…it’s not that big of a deal, I can always put it in the projector if I want bigger.

Just installed the Steam version. Wow, this port is a real asshole about tracking high scores. The results screen stays up for a few seconds, then gone forever with no local leaderboard (Edit: and print screen blacks out the playfield where the score is, wtf. I guess oldschool phone pic is the only way this will happen). There's an online leaderboard but it looks like it's only top-100, I guess you have to git gud if you want to track your scores lol.

No Roger in the first game makes me sad.

Rest assured as I voted that I will post a score, can't really get past 12mil though. Is there slowdown on the pcb? Or is mame just a little off

Sat down with the Steam version today, playing the series for the first time.
What a weird-ass game lol. Definitely tons of scoring potential here but I'm not a fan of the music or visuals at all. I need to find out if I can disable the filtering in a config file or something for the PC version, everything's ugly and smeared like fuckin' Sai2X in an emulator.

The series seems intriguing though, might try the sequels to see where it ends up!

Nice, I'll update the score table tomorrow most likely.

The series is solid, with Shikigami 2 being my favorite and probably the most popular.

I dunno how I feel about Shikigami games. The tension system gets me so... tense. And then I always take a bullet to the face trying to boost my multiplier.

But then I have a decent run and I can see the appeal.

Anyways, getting on the board with this:

egg_sanwich - 65,953,360 - Kuga - 3-1 - mame

Bring the heat, Dogg
I don’t want to derail the thread but in summary, I attempted to add the JP iso to my PS2 HD, I believe I did (I can see it on the game list on my computer) and when I put the HD back into the PS2 …it doesn’t see any games! I’m a total noob with the PS2 so I trying to research and nothing is coming up that I didn’t do.

I’ve had that happen, and hopefully it’s just a loose connection from adapter to drive if all the files are good.

Well for what it’s worth…I deleted the game off the HD and now it’s back to normal but weekend wasted…not like anyone is playing…

Glad to hear you got it back to playable at least.

Here's some motivation for ya. None of us have even reached the first extend yet, we can do better

She'll probably say any regular ass stick modded with the Brook retro board, just a heads up.
