Didn't take it. I went to a state school that only needed the ACT.

ACT, SAT, and all for profit education and testing companies are the height of con-artistry. They've perfected the idea that they provide a public service when in reality it's a scam. Well done. I hope the offices of Pearson, et al burn to the ground.

agreed. i wasted at least a year and a half (school year and summer) going to those stupid SAT prep places. glorified rote learning.

Would you say your SAT score is consistent with a low tier career in IT?

I didn't take it, only the ACT, which was a requirement for the university I went to. I got something in the high 20s on it, I want to say 27 or 29, but, it's been so long, I don't recall for sure.

Never took the SAT. I did do the PSAT. No recollection of the score, but it was enough to get me access to scholarships.

ACT was ok. the scale has changed, so these are not very comparable to when I was in school. I think the first time my Math etc was all 31-33, but my reading or comprehensive was like 19. That made sense, as I hated reading books at the time. retest go me squared away with 30+

Never took it in HS, I graduated early. Somehow I was able to take the SAT in 8th grade though, IIRC I got about 675 / 700 (english / math) which wasn't bad for taking it literally 4 years early.

Some smart mofos in here.

I can't remember exactly. I took it twice and I think the first was 1250, maybe 650 Math, 600 Verbal, then the second time I got into the 1300s and had even scores. 680 each part sounds right but again, memory unclear.

I do know I got a 29 on the ACT.
