Here is the Mitsuoka Orochi, a widely panned "supercar" from around 2007 from Mitsuoka, a Japanese coach builder.

Apparently in 2018, Mitsuoka did a collaboration with Go Nagai, creater of the anime Devilman Crybaby, to create the "Orochi Devilman" - a version of the Orochi influenced from a car from this Devliman anime series:

So what the heck, why do this devilman stuff when they could do an SNK KOF Orochi tie-in? KOF actually has a character named Orochi, so just put that black chest tattoo Orochi has as a decal on the hood, paint it white, and you're probably halfway there. Why not do that tie in? Clearly a missed opportunity.

Why didn’t they make their horrendous stupid super car even less popular? Good question.

(There are many things named Orochi, which is why the car was named that. SNK’s character was not even close to the first, regardless, that is a deeply unpopular car.)
