Yeah the laws concerning the sale/shipping of alcohol across state lines varies greatly from state to state making selling on feebay a srs hassle at best if even possible (i don't think it is possible anymore). Hence why the suggestions to get it auctioned off/consigned are the best bets.

Might it be worth contacting some of the rare stockists who are selling it and asking them if they're interested in buying? I mean, their stock must come from somewhere?

So, we know basically thirdhand a guy who runs a rare whiskey bar here. We're contacting him first. If that doesn't work out, contacting websites that sell these things is exactly where im heading next
