Honestly I can’t remember.

I did sit down and beat Dark Souls 3 last month after getting through most of the game on release and just stopping for reasons I can’t remember.

Nothing really, I just keep playing the same silly casual games that don't really have an end or didn't finish anything else that I started. I don't really care about video games much anymore to be honest.

Thirty three games in a year beaten? Fuck, you sure like games! I feel good if I clear two games in a year that I hadn’t beaten before, often it’s none.

I got all the endings on KOF 2001 (MVS) for the first time this year. I cleared Super Robot Wars X (Vita) twice but I had already beaten it at least once when it came out…mostly I was playing fighting games or League Bowling or Mario Kart 8 or Christmas NiGHTS or other stuff that doesn’t have a real ending. I play games a lot I just don’t do those 40 hour trips very often anymore.

I’ve beaten almost all the Call of Duty Games on the Xbox 360, excluded some of the really shitty ones, I really like Black Ops 1 and 2, genuinely great games. Also beat Silent Hill 2 and Bioshock. Also great games. I also got to Red Dead Redemption and GTA V, which I enjoyed. Kinda basic games this year but it was fun.

I made a list of games I wanted to finish in 2018 and looking at that list, I've finished exactly none of them. Not mad about it... just going through a lull of not particularly caring about games the last few years. Hence the reason why most of the games I "finished" this year was co-op stuff I played with friends.

Aliens Fireteam Elite campaign
Back 4 Blood campaign
Risk of Rain 2 (although I haven't done all of the different runs, I've finished it multiple times and have unlocked all of the character classes)
It Takes Two
Boku Dracula Kun (on the Castlevania Collection)
Bunch of other Castlevania games I've beaten before (1,3,SotN, Rondo)

I can't remember the last time I played a game that wasn't open ended like a fighting game or puzzle game or whatever. The days when I could sink hours into a Metal Gear Solid or RPG or something are long gone.

Gris
Edith Finch
God of War
Bound
Layers of Fear 1&2

Some misc. arcade and 16 bit games but they're things I've beaten numerous times over the years.

Not much but one thing I'm somewhat proud of is not just starting a bunch of new random games playing for a few hours and then abandoning them. I used to do that shit all the time.

Can you say something about City Skylines? Did you like it? It seems to be the urban planing simulator built for Eastern European armchair communists, which is the only reason I know what it is. It looks cool, I'm quite curious, but I don't do Windows.

It is a bit too sandboxish for me. It does look cool but I think I find I like watching other people play it more than I like to play it.

Jesus dude.

In pretty sure I finished both Advance Wars and Mario 64 (120 star) this year. Not sure if I started them this year, but maybe.

Started Metroid Dread, will probably have that finished by the end of the month, then I'll have to pick what's next, Pikmin 3 or Link's Awakening.

Are you fucking shitting me? You beat more than one game per week, and mostly ones that take dozens of hours to clear each? Are you in an iron lung or something? I apologize if you are.

I think I'm officially tired of Yakuza now.
