Louie Anderson, comic and 'Baskets' star, dead at 68

Louie Anderson, an Emmy winner whose career spanned from stand-up and game show host to starring roles in TV and film, died Friday in Las Vegas from complications related to cancer, his publicist Glenn Schwartz confirmed to CNN.

I loved Eek! and was very excited by the Eek! Sega Genesis giveaway. I didn't win though.

A lot of those shows were bifurcated. They were marketed to kids, but had content to attract adult viewership.

Life With Louie wasn't that strange of a concept, at least compared to the glut of celebrity-based cartoons from the late 80s-early 90s.

Camp Candy was the only other one that was any good, if only for John Candy singing the theme song as off-key as possible.
