thanks for the info. is it just some cheap converter?I still cringe when I see jacks drilled into the back of an AES case. Luckily it seems to have gone out of fashion in the past few years.
FYI, those HDMI AESes on ebay aren't real HDMI. They use a cheap analog to HDMI converter inside.
In all likelihood yes. Was the seller kpj? Best way to know for sure would be to open the system and take a photo. It would be interesting for all of us to see, but I can understand if you don't want to mess with the sticky feet covering the screws on the bottom of the console. (If they are already replacements, more new feet can be easily purchased online.) In my experience, the replacement feet can be safely peeled back and re-stuck.thanks for the info. is it just some cheap converter?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…neotropolis on ebay, what bit do you you use on the feet? Is it just the four screws?
The oldest models have 4 screws. The rest have 5 screws. Just use a standard phillips head screw driver.neotropolis on ebay, what bit do you you use on the feet? Is it just the four screws?
Technically they are probably JIS “cross” screws, but the difference is rarely a problem unless the user is…not experienced with stuff as simple as undoing screws. Normally it only matters if rust is involved or if they are stainless screws (which tend to gall up in smaller sizes.)The oldest models have 4 screws. The rest have 5 screws. If you have to ask what size head to use…you don’t know how to use it…
