I have a few issues with my 25" Wells Gardner K7000 screen and the K7000 chassis obviously needs repair. I'm just curious to know what's causing the issues:

1. The right side of the monitor is slightly cut off and doesn't correct when the pots are adjusted.
2. The top 1/5th section of the monitor appears to be washed out.
3. The top left section of the monitor displays small horizontal lines.

Ha! Lucky for you, I just got done refurbishing the K7000 in my big red and should be able to help you.

1.) You should start with a recap, but you can try adjusting the width coil and horizontal hold / position pots on the chassis. The K7000 doesn't really have a horizontal size adjustment pot. If you cant get it to size with the width coil, then the issue is with the width capacitor being either out of spec or the wrong value. Either way, it should be a simple fix.

2.) This happens when the vertical size is too large, try turning it down. But first see my fix for #3, as that will have an affect as well.

3.) This is due to the 50/60hz pot needing to be adjusted. The pot is slightly hidden, but super easy to adjust. Pull up a cross hatch screen and you'll notice some squares are larger then others and you might even have some curling. Adjust the 50/60hz pot and vertical size until all the squares are uniform in size and the curling goes away.
