Been playing the SFC version of this game and neither it not the SNES version saves high scores. If i die, the score isn't displayed during the countdown either. Anyone else have this issue?

Well…my vert can only has one playa, time to break the supergun out…
If it's a Sega cab (or maybe Egret) probably easy enough to swap the harness from P1 to P2 side on the passthrough

Yeah, the snes port is fun as hell, but so far as I can tell, your score just disappears into the ether upon dying. So in order to use it, you'd have to look at your score and make note of it right when you die, before the continue screen comes up. I tried letting the demo screens run a few times after all that, and nothing, the score is gone. So honor system for snes guys I guess, or just sol. I can say that my scores were in line roughly with what's being posted here for the mame scores, so I don't think the scoring structure is any different. Just sucks that they did it that way.
