I think the remake is better than the original, but man, and I'm going to sound like a prude here, but what's up with the sexual montage of them going at it for about a few minutes, they take a water break, and they go on for longer, it felt like soft core. I always sort of liked the movie but it didn't really click meaning wise until someone compared it a sisyphean feat, almost like a penance and reliving that day over and over again. I'm always up for Bermuda triangle'ish Sci-fi.- rarehero
