I live in a suburb of Canton, OH. That woman is a local resident/U.S. citizen and pled not guilty by reason of insanity. I assume she's a crackhead due to the nature of the crime and her criminal history of petty crime and child neglect/abuse. For context, Canton is 175 miles away from...

Thanks Joe8 for explaining how voters might consider candidates moving toward a national election. If you're afraid of Walz because he supports free school lunches and legal marijuana, you might just want to decide on Trump now and avoid any further mental strain.

For me, Dirty Work has aged better than the other movies you listed, and I'd argue it's deserving of its cult classic status. I'd like to believe there are enough gags and cameos for any fan of 90s comedy, but what the hell do I know? I saw it at release when I was 13.

    Tonight’s debate

I'd love to see multi-party voting embraced with voters actually considering diverse ideologies instead of just picking side A or side B, but slowing the Christian nationalist government takeover and slide toward authoritarian theocracy is a little more of a priority for me.

I wish third-party voting was a viable prospect in this country.

Walz as VP is more likely to abuse executive power than Trump as POTUS?

Movie opinions thread (what have you seen, what did you think?)

I don't disagree. I've always loved Unleashed. Revolver is just alright - definitely the weakest of the four films I brought up and only significant because of the collaboration of two great filmmakers. I think Taken and The Transporter are really good action movies that were hurt by becoming...

Movie opinions thread (what have you seen, what did you think?)

He'll never replicate his stellar run of films from 1988-1998, but his writing and producing credits on Taken, Unleashed, Revolver, and The Transporter aren't exactly nothing. Good on him for mentoring up-and-coming directors and providing them with good material to work with.

Eerily similar to what's happening now in U.S. politics.

    Tonight’s debate

I think usually it's because of inherited money and businesses, the collective status and power of family and friends, and the utter stupidity of the voting populace. It's not what you know but who you know. There's also probably something to the true elite wanting easily controlled puppets in...

Neo Geo games you just don't rate

You missed Ghost Pilots (no big loss) and Zed Blade and Strikers 1945 Plus, both of which I rather like, but no doubt the Neo still can't compete with many other console libraries in terms of shmups. Half a dozen good games just can't begin to stand up to the PC Engine, Mega Drive, Saturn, PS1...

Yup. It's sad that the villains of our younger days seem quaint, charming, and, hell, maybe even competent compared to the shit candidates we have now.
