Fair enough. I know I personally need a KOF94 for my personal collection, but that can be arranged later. Maybe if someone who has a KOF94 ROMset from an AES conversion is willing to offload it for cheap, I would probably snag that to make my own Team Edit cart.

If you're serious and got a cart for it, I don't mind doing it. I got some 29F1615s coming in the mail from Aliexpress, and I have the tools to make it happen.

It's basically as yagamikun described, extra samples were added or samples were redone entirely. For most tracks however, the difference is very subtle. But you can hear it if you flip between OSTs and listen close.

It's honestly hard for me to go back to the MS2 soundtrack, despite it also being really solid. They did a fantastic job with the OST rework, even if it wasn't completely necessary.

Is it possible for me to request the final ROM, even if only privately? I know the differences aren't major, I just like to play the latest build of games.

Could never really get into any of the World Heroes games, other than maybe 2 Jet. Even after getting every game in the series, none of them really tickle my fancy. Art of Fighting 1 and Fatal Fury 1 are decent fighting games, but not really ones I am too fond of revisiting. 2 for both series...

It would be interesting to have those EPROMs dumped though, to see if their is any differences between this and the final build.

According to this post here, it would be made available in 2023. However, the itch.io page hasn't been updated since 2022. Was their perhaps a delay in that update, or a change of plans?

Eh, those systems aren't really that great. The picture quality is rather dark and colors are washed out, which tells me the RGBS circuit is undervolted. Not to mention, the cheap regulator circuit in those systems seem to have a tendency of crapping out. It's a nice looking system, but needs...
