3rd strike for sure. More interesting characters, deeper gameplay but that results in a high learning curve. Motw is fun with high learning curve but lacks interesting characters.
I took a good 4-5 years off from the neo retro scene, or retro gaming in general due to work / life and picked up other hobbies along the way. Finally got the itch to play my neo stuff again and watched all these youtube videos of new gadgets for the system. But non of the products are available...

Why can't I just buy this shit over on Amazon and have it ship to me in 2 days. This hobby is one part waiting, the other part is venting on the forums.
What really frustrates me of the current retro scene is the products don't last more than a year or two. Especially the Neo scene. I had been searching high and low for Rad2x hdmi cable for the Neo and the 2X scart retrotink with no luck.

2k3 and Kof series in general feels very choppy to play. I think I would've enjoy the series more if it has more animated frames like Mark of the Wolves.
