I voted Clinton. Not because I necessarily want her to win, but because I think she will. Trump is a kook, Sanders kinda seems like a kook, Cruz is nuts and looks like a creep, Bush has shitty numbers because he's tainted by his brother. I don't know shit about Rubio. The field this year is really fucking lame if you ask me. I'm particularly disappointed that the democrats really didn't come up with anyone better. Obama was a superstar for them when he came on the scene. Who do they have now? An elderly ex-first lady? Yawn. Obama would win in a landslide against anyone in this field on either side if he could run for a third term, and it isn't like his approval ratings are anything special.

I'm almost certain Trump has it in the bag. The fact is that the political players aren't going to vote for him but the common working man who hates Islam and immigrants are going to back him. So it really depends on how many of those people are in each state. It all comes down to who the KKK will back...lol When it was between Clinton and Obama, they went with Obama.

I forget?

How is it exactly that we come up with these nominees?

I mean where is this 'choice' coming from? if it weree...wouldn't each state have at least one nominee?
even the lower level guys aren't chosen at all either and those supposed methods of them being acountable and removable from office, Flint. impeach Clinton for Monica but not him or others after for actual stuff that they really could be?

Karou just doesn't know.

Ah Socialists...I see there are a few popping in. Silly, silly people...

This is, by far the absolute worst presidential pool I've seen in my time on this earth. No matter who wins, it will be awful.

But a full blown socialist?...LOL@morons thinking the government gives anything to the people for free. Sky high tax rates for everyone!!!

Congressional elections are more important than presidential.

Bingo.

Scandinavian countries with "sky high tax rates" are some of the wealthiest countries in the world. Unlike the US, we don't have widespread poverty or very high rates of crime. It obviously works.

Also, Bernie Sanders is by no means a SOCIALIST. Scandinavian countries don't have SOCIALISM either.

Remind me again what it is you are doing commenting in a thread like this? You know, besides talking, once again, about something you have zero clue of, oh "he who gets his dose of US reality from the media".

That's a great reply there. Steer clear of the actual topic and go for an ad hominem argument instead :make_fac:

Voted for Cruz following similar pragmatic reasons as Jibba did. I mean, the man's a spin doctor's wet dream:

-- hispanic roots to open up a large electorate, just like Obama's ethnicity did
-- his religious background (Protestant/Baptist) eases up the ethnic one and addresses the conservative American/Afro-American
-- Princeton/Harvard education with a doctorate & a relatively modest account balance
-- his wife (Irish/Italian/Anglo-Saxon) works at Goldman Sachs, which connects her/him to main Jewish business veins, yet, as a child she travelled to Kenya & Nigeria with her missionary mother
-- two sweet girls, no divorces, young (Clinton is 68, he's 45) & arguably good looking in comparison to the average presidential candidate
-- they both worked for W. during his campaign
-- his father impersonates the from-rags-to-intellectual story with a cv that spans informatics, the almighty oil business & preeching

...well, by all means, but this is impressive. The question is tho, will it be used wisely? To what degree will the fact that he's Canadian born affect him negatively? And further, what is his political vision, if any? I have mixed-feelings, but as for now, I'll definitely monitor his campaign.

I ain't voting. They're all human scum. You have a choice between the welfare/warfare party or the warfare/welfare party. Have fun.

Hillary will probably win though.

I voted Sanders but if Trump chooses Ivanka as running mate then I'll vote Trump.

Shrillary is unelectable. Her scandals are showing.
Bernie is a trainwreck and can't into basic economics. He's the class president who promised every class would be recess and the cafeteria would sere ice cream and pizza.
Cruz is a Canadian born citizen, and there is legal precedent to disallow him from gaining presidential office.
Rubio wants to H1-B our shit up.
Bush is on suicide watch and keeps toy turtles in his pocket.

Trump 2016: Less worse than the other guys.

I agree completely. I consider myself mostly liberal but fuck me, Sanders is nuts. He has zero chance of getting elected, luckily.

I'd vote for Rubio, Bush, Christie, and possibly Trump before Sanders.

edit: I picked Clinton, since she's the most centrist. After that, though, I'd go across the aisle to the moderate Republicans before I'd support Sanders.

edit again: who's going to win (my bad, this was the whole point I guess)? Clinton if Cruz or Trump gets nominated, Rubio if he (Rubio) gets the nomination. Ultimately, I can't see Cruz or Trump winning the nomination (has the nominee ever been as detested by his own party as Cruz is?), so Rubio is my pick to actually win.

Trump because the fucker is the only one who tells the truth about the problems as it is. The rest of these scum politicians are the same thing every 4 years for re-election and are corrupt. Every 4 years, the same promises, the same bullshit, the same result. Nothing ever gets better. Trump will blow up both parties because they both absolutely hate him. Hillary is a CRIMINAL. A criminal allowed to run for President while being investigated by the FBI? That's a fucking joke. The FBI with 150 FBI agents on her case for the emails and the Clinton Foundation, has enough to prosecute her, but you think Obama and his J.D. will allow it? Of course not. The head of the FBI and others in the FBI will probably resign in anger and leak out the indictment and others details. Bernie? Everything's free, houses, cars, college, health care, women, drugs, food, everything is free...I can't tell you how it'll be paid for but believe me, it's FREE. South America, Cuba, Venezuela have all tried what Bernie has offered....they're all in the the gutter. So, Trump.
