If making a bomb is so easy then why are most people here in the states using guns as their main choice of weapon when it comes to these mass shooting? Especially when bombs are even more accessible in terms of getting the material and in affordability? See the biggest detriment with bombs is that they are kinda hard to sneak into a school or a movie theater without having someone else finding out. I highly doubt that these people would resort to using bombs mainly because of all the obstacles they would have to jump through.

I don't know much about making your own weapons but i highly doubt they are as effective as what you can get from gun manufacturers. Please tell me if i'm wrong. Again, I doubt you can get an effective killing machine out of something that is homemade. And part of what makes guns so dangerous aside from them having a high fatality rate is that some of these guns are easy to conceal.

There a a few courses of actions we can take as a nation like making stricter gun laws, but doing nothing is not an acceptable answer.

They should just make guns like the size of gernade launchers but the strength of .22. Like Chris Rock said, Bullet control & charge bullets $5,000 a piece.

Like i said earlier its the way kids are being raised. Both parent work now or single parent doing it on their own is now a norm in america. Parent really need to be more involve in kids lives instead of the crazy ass interent.

Word to Chris Rock! If Bullets were 5Gs each, that would sure help.

You fucking city people.... :oh_no:

Its elk hunting season where I live and I'm going to learn how to clean and pack out an animal this year. I suppose I shouldnt be able to shoot it with a gun.
Just strangle it with your beard.

Because bombs aren't popular yet. But just wait. Just like these school shootings took off faster than planking, so will school bombings, just as soon as one idiot does it.

now compare knife or stabbing related deaths in the US vs the rest of the world. If we have a gun problem, the rest of the world has GOT to have a knife problem.
Lots of YouTube vids of random stabbings in UK. Wish there was a statistic of just how many there are each year

That's going to be a readily available statistic.

You ever heard of reloading? Alot of my firearms are considered antiques (early 1900s and back). The cartridges they fire are pricey, so it's much cheaper to save the brass and reload yourself. With my black powder weapons I can even make the bullets using a plier mold over a campfire.

Recently in southern California, the police seized a huge lot of illegal firearms, something ridiculous like 500+ weapons. This is what we need to do. Crack down on the illegal stuff. Punishing law abiding citizens that are gun enthusiasts is not the answer.

The problem is not with gun ownership. Note the negative correlation in the top two plots.

Now check out the positive correlation between poverty and homocide in the bottom plot.

Homocide rates by country and by state were taken from Wikipedia. Tell me where I'm wrong.

Where you're wrong is that guns are scary so statistics are irrelevant.

Because it's still easier to pull a trigger, every inbred yokel can do that...unless they're too deformed from generations of inbreeding of course.

True, who needs to think when we have politicians and sensationalized news agencies to do the heavy lifting for us.

Because, pot stirring.

Thanks, Facebook!

Stir that pot all you like, my gun hasn't killed anything except paper targets and cosmoline, while abortions are actually murdering fetuses that, left alone, WILL grow into humans so the mother can avoid responsibility (in most cases).
Mind you, I'm pro-abortion, as long as both parties consent. Just call it what it is, murder for convenience (unless it's a rape thing, or a danger to the mother).
You can distance yourself from it all you like, it's still murder. Accept it for what it is.

I posted awhile back how close I came to killing someone.

I was scared. Fuck that, I was terrified.

If you don't feel terrified pointing a gun at someone, you shouldn't own one.

Luckily my gun de escalated the situation - guns don't make you bad ass or tough. They do keep 6'9" 375lbs of man away from your daughter tho.

I don't know if I've come across anyone who considers it murder but is still all for it before.

Both parties? The mother-to-be and the foetus? One kick for no and two for yes.

Best thing we ever did was introduce strict gun control laws in Australia, specifically automatics. We haven't had a mass shooting since 1996 and that's precisely because people (idiots) cannot get their hands, legally speaking, on anything high powered or automatic.
We can own guns here, go to the range and hunt but do you need an automatic rifle for that? Not really. You sacrifice a very very small freedom so that the idiots out there can't just pick up a rifle and take on the public like what you've just seen.

I wonder if its correct?
it'd go up a bit just to include shootings, but they can leave suicides out.
yeah well...apparently guns account for like 67% of murders total. so that looks much worse.oh well
