Glad to hear it was benign!

I had a very similar experience a few years ago, had a mole on my face sliced off and biopsied, ended up being questionable, so they had to excise the entire thing down to the fat layer. Had to be awake during the surgery too which was really interesting lol. Ended up being "benign" as well. Now I have a faint ~3 inch scar down my left cheek.

That is going to be a sad day. If you use that day to drive a killdozer into your health insurer, maybe leaving a note like "insurance is a fuck," then... I forgot where I was going with this, but people would talk.
