I practiced McDojo Tae Kwon Do for about 5 or 6 years in elementary school and junior high school. I remember really enjoying it and getting into the sparring. I've heard that traditional TKD is much different and a harder hitting style. I also heard that it's practiced in North Korea. Does anyone know if this is true?
I've been practicing Muay Thai the last two and a half years and love it. The training is fun and the sparring and competition is intense.
I still have never practiced a Chinese martial art. I'd love to do some training someday. I can't stand forms (katas or whatever) but would like to learn a few to broaden my mind.
