Anbernic just pushed the update they made for the RG557 to other devices. Not sure if all of them. I have a 406V and updated this morning. I don't love the idea of a chinese company slapping AI on my device, HOWEVER. It offers real-time translations across all games! I'm playing around with it this morning and its pretty nuts. Tiny icon on the screen you can tap anytime you want a translation overlay. Gonna' test some RPGs today. If it works well, kind of a game changer, honestly.


Edit: I know Retroarch already can do this, but this is way easier and doesn't pause gameplay

That's actually awesome. I wish Retroid would do something like this since I just got my RP5 grip (it's excellent, btw). I tried the translation feature in Retroarch a few years ago, and yeah, it was pretty much unusable unfortunately.

So, we went from clipping on controllers to phones a few years ago to clipping phone screens to a handheld today. The circle of life.
