Anyone know what this PCB does?

Bought this out of pure curiosity. Looks like it changes the P1 somehow. No idea what it actually does though. Anyone have any experience with this thing?

Finally got it in and took a look. Ya it looks like it hacks the P1. You can force a Max meterburn. The P1 IC itself looks legit. The PCB seems to actively hack the legit P1 without a full burned replaced P1 ROM chip. Interesting way to go about it. Maybe an early form of ROM hacking the cart?

It is a standard KOF94 board with that top PCB soldered posts into the P1 location. I would have to desolder it to take pictures.
