MAG.com only lists the following as features:

* New gear items: Heavy Armor (Improved) Raven - Heavy Ceramic Composite

New medals, ribbons and trophies to support the new game type "Interdiction"

Well that's a disappointment.

It's not a deal breaker for the DLC, but I was expecting to have that slot.

The new maps are nice, but I don't have the points to use the armor without sacrificing something important. Some additional weapons would have been nice for $10.

I can't find the AV cable for my PS3

I moved my triple downstairs last week to play on my sister's kickass HDTV and hooked it up straight HDMI.

Upstairs I play on my PC monitor and go HDMI to DVI and I have the sound output through the standard PS3 AV cable (stereo sound) to my computer speakers.

But for the life of me I can't find what the hell I did with my A/V cable. I shall continue the search. This is the only reason I haven't been on MAG in the last couple of days.

In short, I suck.

It's a pretty intense experience at first isn't it? The grenade spam can be overwhelming. It gets even better when you play the bigger game types with artillery strikes.

The trick to leveling faster is to specialize your character role a bit. Heal and revive other players, that will give you a ton of XP. If you stay with your squad, you get bonus XP for killing enemies and completing assigned objectives.

I really love Mag, I just wish it had a higher population. They sold over 800k copies worldwide, but there never seems to be more than 2-3k people online at once.

I'll be on quite a bit this weekend, so I'll look for you.

I'm level 11 or 12 now and starting to become useful.

I'll be firing it up about 30 mins from now for a pretty long session.

Yesterday I started using a different weapon - a heavier machine gun, and started having better success with that. Poor range and useless if you are moving, but if you can just stand there and blast away at middle close-middle range it works well for me.

I also got the upgrade to enable me to revive downed comrades.

Tried my hand at squad leader tonight and Valor won comfortably. Need to read up about it. Was fun.

So was this game always full of teamkilling douchebags or is it a recent phenomenon? God I couldn't go 2 minutes without someone trying to nade/shoot me.
