Eh, it's a write in month. Regardless, should be fun.

Lately, seems the good rare and exotic BUMP boards are having a hard time getting a big game going (even with emulation scores).

May have to make this the Non-shmup-of-the-month club. /

I think beat em ups just dont have the huge cult following the way shmups do.

It would only take a time machine.

If Blazing Star was the SOTM for this april, it's participant turn out would be maybe a quarter of that.

I should take part of this shenanigans, however I'm kinda bummed out that the first time I want to participate it's not a damn Brawler (Brawler, People!) it's a run and gun...oh well.

Beelzebub - 479,380 - Stage 4



It was a decent run up until the fight with Allen O'Neil, which I stupidly lost two lives on. Then I lost my last life right at the beginning of Stage 4 from a stray bullet. Suffice to say it looks like I need some more practice.

Try staying at floor level and shoot at him constantly. It usually keeps him from getting to the floor and shooting you. Just be careful with the grenades he throws.

OK, I improved mine. Now it's the first score: 903810, made it to the boss of stage 5.

Lost a life on a stupid missed ledge jump on Mission 3 otherwise it would have been 100k+ better :/
Lost a life in Mission 5
Lost my final life kinda early in Mission 6.

The run went well but I'm really rusty. Playing MVS Level-4 on an NGX handheld.
