Hi all,

I got a few "junk" AES carts from Japan, only one is acting up, Art of Fighting 2 (I think).

You can see me switching the cart (one handed lol, needed the other hand to take the video) to a working one and the AES boots, sound works as well, I've removed it from the video.

I can add higher resolution pics of the PCB if needed.

Was hoping someone knew what the culprit is or had an idea where to check, haven't had this yet with carts.

Seeing the EP1 IC doesn't have its window covert makes it a prime suspect t me, but thats just a guess.

Edit:
the checksum of EP1 matches, it's a NEC D27C4096D-12

Thank you @BIG BEAR

the CRC and SHASUM checkout of the P1 ROM, so that seems fine as well
CRC32 a3b1d021
SHASUM ee42f3ca4516226b0088d0303ed28e3ecdabcd71

do you have other suggestion?
I really hope its not one of the three the ASIC, the PCM seems to regularly die, I don't have a replacement
