Does this soldering look like it was done by hand?

I would say yes, some look definitely being hand-performed with flux and all, too shiny for a factory job.

But if I’m not mistaken, it was not uncommon for SNK to fix defective carts and reissue them on the market, so the hand soldering might not be a 100% sign of this game being a boot.

Yeah, it looks like someone could have desoldered and resoldered this one. I have two used MVS carts that came like that: Irritating Maze and Puzzle de Pon! R. Maybe someone dumped the roms and put them back.

Thanks guys. This is the infamous Power Spkes II AES 🙈
What happened? I thought they were understood to be better than this? Of course Aero Fighters 3 was relabeled, but I thought this stumped folks here.

Does it have EPROMs? I am curious if this is someone separating Power Spikes II from Puzzle Bobble, and reusing the leftovers.

I am aware, I am just curious if someone decided to seperate the Power Spikes II ROMset from Puzzle Bobble, and made two conversions as a result.
