A couple of weeks ago my buddy who is an arcade operator told me he had just bought another operator's route in town. Among the gems he got in the buy was this monster, which I had to take off his hands.
The medium res monitor is nice and bright. Everything looks really sharp. The only issue is a bit of burn in where the "Insert Coin" prompt comes up, but you can't see it when the game is on.
The one thing that really surprised me is the artwork. All of it is intact aside from a tiny scuff on the control panel. There's zero sunfade too. Honestly, I'd be surprised if this machine had been moved off of this location before.
My only gripe, and it's a small one, is that there's only one original Sega gun. The other is a Happ 45, but both are very accurate. Down the road I might grab another Sega gun, but for the time being I'm happy. Also, the marquee light is burnt out, but a quick trip to the hardware store will have that taken care of.
Overall, not a bad haul.
