Can an NTSC TV accept a PAL signal?

I have three TV sets, all NTSC only, and was wondering if there was anything I could do to have them accept a PAL cable TV signal?

While here in Argentina all TV sets sold are multisystem, I brought mine over from Canada. Cable TV here is PAL (50hz?).

Thanks.

Nope. You'll probably be better off picking up a cheap TV locally.

I have a 20" for TV but my other sets are 27" or larger and was hoping I could do something to have them accept the signal.

The problem is that here, there is no such thing as a cheap TV.

I've seen this on ebay but what about a coaxial cable? I'm trying to watch basic cable TV.

You have coaxial connection only? no composite input?

If you have a somewhat modern set-top box, it should output composite video, at the least, along with the usual RF. Though if you're boxless, hm, I dunno.

no VCR?

(Use the VCR to get a composite output, then use the PAL->NTSC composite converter.)
