I think people don't trust the longevity of the turbo 4s. The Mustang SVO engine appears to be much better built than the current line of Ecoboosts. I almost bought a Focus SVT some years ago but I didn't really need another car at the time. Those also seem to hold up pretty well with normal maintenance.

Longevity is an issue, but I think it's more of the V8 guys just thinking 4 cyls are gay.

Looks like a 1968 I think? I always forget about those rear quarter panel name decals. They aren't on every car, I don't know if they were optional or only with certain colors or what.

I should get a pic of my dad's car without people in it to post. It's a 64 GTO convertible, Pinehurst Green with black interior and white top, 4 speed. Tri-Power installed but wasn't a factory tri power car.

I agree, but it seems like someone should be shoving powerful V8s in otherwise shitty vehicles. It's the American way.

Nah, seems to be a first gen 4Runner. Apparently they’re making a new trim for the current gen called a TRD Surf. Too gaudy now, but I’d love one of those old ones.

Found some nice rear seats for the Mustang a couple of weeks ago. It's really too hot to be out working on cars in the middle of summer. I have a couple of other projects lined up for cooler times.
