Hello,

Apologies if this in the wrong section or indeed already covered :o)

I've got a simple query and was hoping some of you guys could help me out.

Do a lot of new MVS carts appear to have not been cased properly? I have KOF 2000 & 2k3, both of these snap/pop when held on their lower insert end corners.

I am pretty sure this snapping can be mitigated or even fixed by adjusting the screws, but was wondering has anyone else noticed this?

Actually it sounds as if others before you had checked to make sure they were not bOOts. Or worse, you actually bought bOOts and they didn't close and seal the cases correctly. In other words they were lazy.

This is just my theory because I never have/had this issue.

Yeah, thats what I feared, but they are complete kits, the KOF2K has a holo label (tho it layed with a baboons precision) and they match the boxes.

I've seen carts that did that.
Could be that they are not closed properly or that something inside is not placed the way it should be.

You should be able to open it up and fix that pretty easily ;)

Hey id be happy for the same reasons. Maybe it's just a fluke thing? Maybe an extra chunk of plastic is in the way?
My MS5 and RoTD are perfect with no issues. :spock:

loosen the screws and when you retighten squeeze the cart together as you tighten the screws, that should work.

I Find this often with real-original carts..
...............and recased games=Yaton-Ebay)
Plus Boots...

...
My MS4 Original Brand new Kits carts case was really messed up..
It was so wide-fat in the front that I could not get it into one of my 4 slot mobos..

I had to do some shaving inside the carts casing to get it to close right...it would click when pressed..
I shaved a little inside in certain spots to get it to fit.

Yes, none of my carts are effected by this.

As for Yaton, he has great prices, but the quality is hit and miss.
