Hey ng.com people and chatters,
our chat software runs into problems every once in a while which leads to a refresh glitch, chat posts don't automatically show up anymore, you have to reload the whole page to see them which is annoying and puts unnecessarry load on the server.
This is a test to see if a smaller chat log can solve the problem of the regular chat log rotation. From now on, chat will be cleared every Friday, maybe we will gradually expand this timeframe to two tweeks if things go well. I'm not 100% sure if this will help to solve the problem but since the refresh glitch always happened when the chat log was more than 600 pages long, I think it can't hurt to give it a try.
