Yeah, but they leave out the historically/scientifically accurate part.
wait until you see what happens as we continue to appease the ever living shit out of minority groups that are historically hyper religious, bigoted, and corrupt (but marginalized).

I though you were talking about Italian Catholics... Until I got to the "Marginalized" part.

Once again, I am asking that schools teach historically accurate lessons. And I don't want to appease the whims of snowflakes that want to live in Fairy-tale land.

I actually searched amazon for Historically accurate coloring books. All I could find was "Adult Coloring Books" which was filled with essentially the same themes, but with more detail.

I didn't even know that "Adult Coloring Books" was a thing.

Someone will make a “historically accurate” book and it will be full of bullshit regardless. History is propaganda. If you want facts, go to a science lab or study math.

You haven’t ever heard of an Adult Coloring Book in the last decade? You should get out more.

They probably just shouldn’t teach history to primary school children.

By the time I was in High School I dont remember that bullshit.

You don’t go to target or the grocery store? Maybe it’s a west coast thing.

They’re next to the regular coloring books or by the magazines at checkout. They’re for adults because the designs can be abstract and they feature lines much more close together necessitating finer motor control.

They’re not sexual.

True, you did.

The problem with history is that they don’t teach you about it’s nuances (ie written by humans who have biases) until you get further along.

It’s probably more apt to say we study chronology (ie the sequence of events.)

Can we just stop naming shit after him?

He was a brute.... Not by just 21st century contemporary standards, but by 15th century contemporary standards.

We finally stopped treating Custer as a hero.
Why not Columbus?

Who is naming stuff after Columbus?

I motion we replace all statues of Columbus with statues of Columbo, get rid of Columbus Day and rechristen as Columbo Day.
