Combat Elite: WW II Paratroopers

Has anyone played Combat Elite: WW II Paratroopers? It appears to be an overhead action-RPG shooter with a WW II motif. That sounds pretty awesome, but the reviews weren't that great. However, I don't really trust reviews too much so I was wondering if anyone here has played it.

The game sucks. Thats why it took so long to get out. It was cancelled a couple of times before finally picked up and released. It plays like an unfinished and poorly designed game. you cant see anything and stuff hits you from everywhere. It should be cheap though if you want to pick it up to try out.
