Why do they have to make it 3D? Looks like crap.

Eh, I've got the GBA version of the first game to keep me warm and happy.

Why not just do it like they did the first one and skin it in HD with the option to play it like the original.

Somebody didn't play TMNT Reshelled. Oh god. Not another update into 3D. I tried so hard to like Reshelled but it was just horrible. What I want is the SNES version with the extra added stages and moves, with four players with the arcade graphics and sounds. Reshelled was terrible. The music was bland, the game played simpler then the arcade version did and overall it was WAY too easy. I also wish they could put an update into Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World that fixes the freezing issues and put in online multiplayer. Also, typical Capcom bullshit. I asked if Double Impact sold well would they consider putting more beat em' ups on XBLA/PSN and nothing has happened since.

Damn straight. Man the GBA was awesome.

Fuck these 3D online remakes. If they have the right to the title just put the original out FFS.

It does look like crap, but out of sheer nostalgia's sake I'd probably try it anyway. But not for fucking 1200 points. I could just boot up the old NES cart instead and have more fun.

- With 3D graphics and scrolling, this game looks more like Die Hard ARCADE than Double Dragon.

- When fans make "Streets of Rage REMAKE," Sega shuts them down and we'll never see the game get an official release. Konami in-turn makes their own "Double Dragon II REMAKE" and all the retro-fanboys who weren't even alive when the original was first released will go crazy... with their wallets.

The connection between the above?--SEGA made some of the best beat-'em-ups in an era and now doesn't give a shit about the genre. As a result, companies like KONAMI can fill in the gap when they please, and SEGA loses-out. Good for TMNT and such... bad for SEGA's past glories.

Uhh damn is the developer that lazy not to use sprites !? This DDII remake looks rather generic to me :p Even if i had a 360 i rather stick to playing the PCE or even the NES version of DDII.

I'd be nice if Konami still had the rights to Turtles, it's all Ubisoft now. Same would be if they tried to port The Simpsons, EA owns the rights now. EA tried "Simpsons Arcade" on iOS and it sucks out loud. There were rumors of Konami releasing Sunset Riders on Game Room (Not Xbox Live Arcade) and so far there's been nothing. Sega should have let the people from Bombergames make Street of Rage Remake an official product, like how Bally/Midway hired the guys from General Computer to make their Crazy Otto upgrade kit into Mrs. Pac-Man. I still need to sit down and play though the whole thing. I only played through the "final" release of Remake but I loved the one they had a few years ago.

What I still can't get over is they want to charge 1200 space bucks for a shitty 3D beat em' up that doesn't have online co-op. Capcom offered two games with GGPO netcode for 800 points and it was amazing. I really wish they'd get their heads out of their asses and release more of the great 80's and 90's co-op beat em' ups they own the rights to. Captain Commando, Battle Circuit, Armored Warriors? Why not?

It's in Game Pack #12. I've dumped the file and there is definitely a sunset riders rom in there. They also advertise it on the main menu of Game Room. Konami plans to re-release it with online support, so that's why it's not seen light in that piece of software

The only thing that it's good for is Konami's wallet.

A Streets of Rage 3D remake would be an embarassment to the series. Kudos to Sega for not shitting on it.

Do yourselves a favor and track down Double Dragon Advance. It's still the definitive version of DD and apparently was made by ex-Technos members. Whether or not that's true, the gameplay is solid and the challenge is fair (I was able to 1cc it on the hardest difficulty eventually).

For a millisecond I was like "Oh man, I love Double Dribble, I mean Dragon 2" and then I saw a screenshot of that shit. I bet they don't even include may favorite part of the NES game where it's like "Fuck you, this is a platformer now"

Hmm... I don't really mind 3D brawlers, had a blast with games like God Hand, Spikeout, etc. Let's give this one a try, eh...

1200 pts. seems excessive to me, though.

Double Dragon II The Revenge is my favorite DD, but a 3D beat'em up?

Unless they ape the combat system from Rocksteady's Batman games I'll pass.
