Löw's last match, kind of a relief an era ends here. Grats to England. Looking forward to Flick.

Group of Death has been eliminated.
If truth be told... France had a good chance to win their tie....

Conceding 2 goals in 10 minutes = dumb... they should've shored up the ship..

Portugal looked spent after their exertions from the group of death...

Germany... well... they aint the side they use to be... they remind me of an England team pre-tournament... All hype and little to show for it...

Belgium had enough chances to win...

SADLY... they just didn't take those chances...

Italy showed them that with a bit of grit and hard work... the best team in the world tag is just that... a tag...

Italy LITERALLY the team of the tournament. Hoping they'll put Spain out of their misery next week.

So, what's everyone's consensus for England vs. Denmark?

England has too much talent to lose against Denmark but since Eriksen went down, Denmark has defeated the odds (except their first game, obviously)

that should end here, unless England is in fact cursed, and Denmark is in fact blessed by a Laplands demonic deity in exchange for the sacrifice of Eriksen.

Italy looked good against Spain. For all the foibles of Morata, the Spanish midfield is top class. Koke and Pedri were solid, and you could really feel their effect on the game. Unai Simon is a liability and it has to hurt DDG’s heart to watch that shit for 120 minutes.

But they are cursed, they can't win a championship unless they resurrect Tofiq Bahramov. ^^

Jokes aside don't underestimate Denmark, they won the title in 1992 against Germany. I still can't believe this. Those games with lots of goals are probably over unless it ends with penalty kicks.

Having Schmeichel the Great between the pipes and Laudrup the lesser in attack though.

Only have Schmeichel the lesser now.

German team was still good and defending world champion back then. Calling them favourites was an understatement.

It’s always like that. Favorites fail. Brazil ‘98, Brazil 2006, France 2010, Brazil 2014, Germany 2018

I learned that lesson when I was 11. Damn 2018 was even more embarrassing than losing against England in a tournament. Löw should have quit after the title in Brazil. He just ruined his reputation in the last years.

Nice free kick by the Damsgaard well stuck ... Pickford was screaming at Harry Kane befor the kick I think he might have been blocking his view of the ball
