So I only half follow this but I think this season could be a laugh.

Looking forward to the Button / Hamilton bitch fights as they try to blame each other for being average drivers who happen to not be in the fastest car this year.

I still don't get why F1 is so popular in Europe. You only have 20 drivers and most of the time it's a straight up race with few passes and large winning margins. Can't someone just watch the last five minutes on TV or the highlights on their sports station?

At least they're not just going around in a circle like NASCAR. But then with NASCAR you never know when you may have a flipping crash that may or may not cause injuries/death. Closest thing to Death Race we have. Just need to throw Jason Statham and some hottie inside of whichever car Danica is leaving behind.

I don't like it either. It's mainly about people associating themselves with the birth nations of the drivers. Most of them live in Monaco anyways, so what the fuck? :D

Very true.

I don't like it much either, but it continues and at least this season shows potential.

WRC and Super GT are what I really follow.

Neither Brit made the podium in Bahrain this year- ouch! I'm the furthest thing from a Ferrari mark as you will ever meet; however, i am *thrilled* with Massa's amazing comeback from near death. A second place finish after fracturing your skull last season?! Go 'head, maine. Shumy's 6th place= shoulda stayed retired.

Aussie GP this weekend!

RBR qualifies 1 and 2. . . What will the weather do? Can Weber win in his home GP? Where is US F1? Having 2 kids under 2 yrs old = on problem with 1:30 am EST start time:). This race should be rad!

Spectacular race weekend; unless you are Kamui Kobayashi. :-S man, he had some tough luck this time out. Podium a total shocker as Button repeats, Kubicia lands 2nd place after starting 9th (!), and Massa continues to impress by making the podium after his near death/retirement last year. RBR just have to be scratching their heads at this point- and Schumy. . .go fly a kite already. You done, holmes. Can't WAIT until next weekend!

Too true. Being fastest man out at Bahrain, only to come in 4th after limping thru the end of the race- heartbreaking.

...followed-up with being the fastest man in Australia, only to have his brakes fail. Yikes!

I think RBR is going to come on strong this year if they can improve machine reliability. The pilot talent is there.

Hamilton and Button 1 and 2 at the end of Malaysian GP practice. (!) Maybe in response to us throwing them under the bus at the top of this thread? :-D

I don't watch F1 often, but thats where the real driving is at. Nascar on the other hand is a joke.

Forgot to add in Rally. Those drivers are no joke either.

RBR dominates qualifying once again! Weber on pole. Depending on the weather this race could be rad, or meh. Only 5 hrs to race start!

I'm following the race live on the BBC's web site.

In other words, reading what happens...

Kind of reminds me of listening to football matches on the radio in the car when I was a kid (which I always hated having to do), or grim Saturday evenings on TV as the score draws came up on a videprinter or something behind some grim 70's / 80's guy in a suit. Used to hate that too.

Anyway, at least Jensen and Lewis aren't winning.

Lol @ Alonzo blowing up with 1 lap to go. I can't stand that dude after the shennaneganes with Piqet Jr. last year. RBR one and two, and Hamilton really worked his way up from 20th. Super race!

Shanghai practice had some crazy happenings. Won't spoil it for those whom haven't watched their DVR yet. The first 10 mins is very interesting. Be back early Saturday to rap about qualifying.
