Yes, yes, yes and yes. That was a little underrated; I didn't remember anyone having that game. I didn't, my friends didn't, no one that I knew had it except for my cousin. Mystical Ninja was another one like that.

Me and everyone I knew had this game and Rogue Squadron on the N64, great games and luckily out before our memories of Star Wars could be killed by the prequel movies.

There were some great wrestling games on the N64...haven't played them in ages but I was in college at the time and was awesome having some buddies over to play.

But my favorite non-Nintendo game is Sin & Punishment. Definitely.

Edit: who made Killer Instinct Gold? Rare? Had a lot of fun with that one too...

kind of a 'second party' game but treasures 'sin and punishment' was glorious.

I'm not a big fan of googly-eyed RareWare collectathons, so I'll take any of Treasure's games:
Sin & Punishment
Bangaioh
Mischief Makers

Or Ogre Battle 64 would be a good choice too.

Sin and Punishment
Mischief Makers
Goldeneye
Banjo
Any AKI made WWF or WCW wrestling game. (No Mercy trumps them all)
Bomberman 64
Shadows of The Empire
Beetle Adventure Racing
NFL Blitz
Wane Gretzky's 3D Hockey (That goalie's a wall!)
Blast Corps
Perfect Dark (Laptop Gun trap for life!)

Apparently the Mario Party games were developed by Hudson Soft... so I'd have to say Mario Party 2.

Alot of good ones have been named, so I'll just throw some out there:

Doom 64
007: TWINE
Forsaken 64
Duke Nukem 64
Duke Nukem: Zero Hour
Quake 64
Quake II
Battletanx: Global Assault
Starcraft 64
Resident Evil 2

Blast Corps
Mischief Makers
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Beetle Adventure Racing
Turok 1 & 2

Honestly, I don't like many N64 Rare games aside from Blast Corps

Wipeout 64. Held up well, and is still very playable today. In my opinion, games like GoldenEye may have been awesome in their day, but are shit now.

I'm shocked this thread hasn't been torn apart by all the Nintendo haters yet.

I'm putting my vote in for Rocket: Robot in Wheels. Nice to see it mentioned previously. I also enjoyed Lego Racers and Toy Story 2, two games that should have been crap but ended up being fun.

I wanted to tear it apart, but not because I'm a Nintendo hater(I'm not); but because N64 is by far Nintendo's worst home console. But alas, I won't deny that there are some good games on it(just far less than on competing consoles); so I'm trying to be positive here.

One of the main reasons I like the N64 so much, is because of RareWare

I had some fun with the Army Men series (3DO) back in the day. I haven't been able to recreate the issue since though.

I'd vote Hybrid Heaven if the thread title was "3rd party N64 Game with most unrealized potential".
Since it's not, I'll tip my hat to "Lode Runner 3-D" (Infogrames).

I had a lot of fun with Shadows of the Empire.

I'm inclined to think it might be an objectively terrible game but it's been to long since I played. I'll just remember the positive memories.

Exactly my thoughts.

I loved it because I really like Dash, The Outrider is a fucking cool ship and it had all forms of Star Wars action it:

Vehicle combat
Space combat
Blaster battles

What's more, you weren't saddled with playing a movie character OR a Jedi Knight. It's one of the few Star Wars games that has that much variety with an original character. Even the Dark Forces games don't have it all; no space battles.

And the locales were largely familiar places, like Hoth and Mos Eisely. And I thought the Skyhook battle at the end was fucking awesome. It was really cool seeing the Millenium Falcon zipping around space during that fight. Nice touch there.

I got all the challenge points for all difficulty levels. I loved that game so much.

But it probably is, as you said, not a really well designed game.

I will +1 all the comments about the Wrestling games, too. WCW vs. NWO, Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy are all really fun games.
