Simple as it sounds - post up a pic of your first car, not the car you borrowed from your dad, the first car you actually owned for yourself.

I'll get the ball rolling with this beauty:

Toyota Carina II, 1991, complete with moonroof. I owned one of these in 1999. My actual car was also in beige, every inch the pussy magnet.

She looked so clean in this pic. I still have this car in storage. I thought i would want to keep it forever, but it's kind of a hassle to keep a car around.

1995 Oldsmobile LSS, had it from 2004-2006 until it shit out on me, because American cars are fucking bullshit. I have not owned one since.

That's not an actual picture, I couldn't find a good picture of the same year/color as mine, so just imagine that car without the rims. I was not gangsta enough for rims on my land-yacht. :(

The worrying thing about that car is that's a shot of a brand new one, with the name plates on and everything. This is as good as that car ever looked.

I could get nostalgic over a car like that easily.

Always used relative's cars for a while until I had to get stationed in Missouri. The drive from NY to St Louis was not going to work out financially with my dad's '98 Ford Explorer, so I bought a new car. 2012 Kia Rio. Stock photo but it's exactly what it looks like.

Great gas mileage, horrid performance in the snow.

I don't have pics of my first 2 cars they only lasted a few months - Stock photos above but they looked identical. First one was a $400 - 84 Ford Tempo - automatic transmission went out, had to drive 40 miles home in 2nd gear. LOL 2nd car was a $300 Ford Escort stick shift that I gran turismo'd over a curb (bald tires, wet road, too sharp of a turn). Sway bars taco'd, CV's joints cracked to pieces, I basically shit the entire front end. LOL

It was 1998, I wanted a Mustang or something that hooned with a big motor (gas was CHEAP as fuck), but insurance wouldn't cover me on a newer style Mustang or a fox-body 5.0 - and the folks wouldn't let me throw it on their insurance (smart) - So i had to go with what I could afford insurance wise. I made the insurance agent look up cars forever until i hit the sweet spot - CAMARO RS! LOL - '90 Camaro Rally Sport 305 - 5-speed manual - It could not beat a 5.0 pony - but the Flowmaster exhaust was fucking awesome, I burnt off the original tires it came with and 2 additional sets before I sold it for college (Really only had it for 2.5 years). It was t-tops and assrock rims - it was a GREAT first fun-mobile.

Before you laugh keep in mind it's 1998, and already rolling hard on my 3rd car. I worked my ass off for this thing, parents paid for nothing, and I was still able to save for college.

I could wax poetic all day about that thing. My pop bought it for me when i got my license. I think it was like $500. He knew what it was, sadly i did not.

It had a cigar lighter (fucking huge thing) and an independent horn lever on the steering column and not on the wheel. The horn had the effect on other drivers of putting your finger on your nose and turning it up.

A weird little euro mobile in the middle of chicago. If I only knew what I had when I had it.

My first car was a hand-me-down Dodge Daytona, but it only lived for about a year before dying. I loved it, though. When I was headed off to college my parents asked if they could help me buy a new car as a graduation present. I didn't want a new car, I wanted my POS Dodge, but then she up and died on me and that was that. Being from a GM family we get heavy discounts on cars, so my parents and I split the cost of a new Chevy Beretta, which was about $9K back in the day. God, that car was a beast. Still in the top three or so of the fastest cars I've ever owned. Wish you could still get a car like that under $10K. Made me forget my Daytona almost over night. ;)

'92 Achieva. 2grand and lasted me 6 years or so which was shocking. The story of how it left my possession is far more interesting than how I got it.

Oh man, that is really is mack as hell.

I had gotten kind of a hand-me-down from my brother that he bought. I picked up payments and after I paid it off it was about five grand.
It was great for me to try out car stereo stuff in, plenty of room.
This isn't mine but it's the same year, but mine was blue.

Not the actual one, but that's the year/make/model. Mine was blue accented rather than brown, but other than that it's the exact one.

A 1976 Toyota Chinook camper. Had shag carpeting in the back, a couch and coffee table that transformed into a bed, another sleeping loft, sink, electricity, all that good shit. I got it for free from my uncle because his daughter (my cousin) was too embarassed to be seen in it. Score!

It had no power steering, no antilock brakes, it was rear wheel drive, and you couldn't see a damned thing out the back of it. Ran like a champ though, until someone hit me and totaled it a few years ago.

Had some good times in it though.

I took the bus and train for a hell of a long time, so when I landed a big contract, I bought my dream car.

Inherited this POS Hydunai Excel sedan:

260569d1256945316t-club-hyundai-excel-hyundai-excel-92e.jpg

Then drove an Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais for a few years, in BURGANDY. That was not a car, more of a small boat:

1990_oldsmobile_cutlass_calais_2_dr_international_coupe-pic-43007.jpeg

That piece of crap left me stranded in an underground parking lot that took 4 hours to tow back. I was so pissed that I bought myself a brand new top of the line Accord coupe the next weekend:

154146d1304147068-ft-2000-honda-accord-v6-ex-coupe-imgp4740.jpg

Traded it in 5 years later for the Odyssey, which I am still driving:

800px-2005-2007_Honda_Odyssey.jpg

I also bought a 2nd car since moving to suburb for commuting:
