Awesome little unit. Might have to pick one up from him.

I'm considering getting into the supergun thing, but have a couple of questions about it.

First of all, can you switch back and forth between playing say, an MVS board and a CPS3 board with sf3?

How would you go about getting a 6-button controller to work with this thing, since the ports are already wired for MVS/AW controls?

Heh, yeah, there's very little magic behind the arcade scene, Galfordo. It's all smoke and mirrors until you get the games and the supergun in front of you and see how simple it all is. There's really not much difference between plugging in Gunstar Heroes and then Sonic the Hedgehog into your Sega Genesis as there is one arcade game to another in your supergun.

You'd have to install a kick harness to play 6 button games (something that connects between the street fighter PCB and your supergun or controller). So, that'd require some soldering.

For the controller, I bought myself a Hori Real Arcade Pro and rewired it for Neo Geo output. It has 8 buttons (4 buttons on top row and 4 on bottom), so it gives a complete range of gameplay whether it be 4 button setup or 6.

Check my extra button tutorial.....

If your building one, I'd start with a simple 3/4 button one and then add on.

Looks nice, did D-Lite ever finish his k-component gun?
Made a couple of them:

I wire them all to use standard Neo pinouts so any Neo stick will work and I wire the port to support extra buttons in case you want a kick harness like the on in the pics above. I mod Saturn pads too.

What does this have to do with this thread? If someone buys this I can add a kick harness to it and you have instant playability of MVS, CPS2/3, and tons of other stuff. Just so people know it would be straightforward to upgrade this supergun if that's a sticking point.

The title of the thread has been changed, since I had first replied to it. At first I thought he was showing off a new supergun that he just bought from you.

Oh, I don't think Dean was taking issue with your post. If he was then... :kekeke:

Anyway, I didn't know about the k model. Very cool, thanks!... price changed to 285$.

I have a set of braided wires I can include with the unit. I currently don't have the means to install it (and I've got some molex connectors, but I'm fresh out of crimp pins).

Dean, if worse comes to worst would you mind if I shipped the unit to you to have the harness installed? I've got to send some things your way, anyway.

...just read Amano Jacu's thread in suggestions.

Please move this thread if appropriate.

I did post this selling thread here to spite the other sub-forums.

Arcade Central forever!

:)
