It does, Sifu. It doesn't make the OG DS games 3D, and I think the top screen image gets stretched a bit since the 3DS has a larger upper screen.

Last time I checked, the 3DS doesn't stretch the top screen image.

It also doesn't add real circle pad functionality to the DS. It will still operate like a D-pad, because that's all the DS had.

It doesn't stretch the image, it just looks a bit blurry because it must be upscaled since the 3DS top screen has a higher resolution. You can hold start and select when you start the game to keep it at the original resolution but the image will be much smaller.

I stand corrected. It's been a while since I picked mine up. I use my DSi XL for DS games (AceKard) and the 3DS XL for the new stuff.
