A multi-game Sega Ringedge2 HDD image dropped on arcade-projects.com momentarily, before the thread, and ultimately the entire ringedge section of the forum, were nuked.

People are already scalping Ring multigames for $200+

While these are a little tricky to make, it doesn't justify that kind of price. People were previously paying 200-500 EUR to have single games installed on their ringedge SSD drives.

Because of that ridiculousness, I have 4 drives to give away to good forum members. By this I mean, for example:

- You're a long time member and we've done business

- You're a ~10 year member in good standing

- You're not going to flip this on eBay or elsewhere.

Ring1 games:

Ring2 games:

What you need: a ringedge or ringedge2 motherboard and JVS setup in working order.

What you don't need: a keychip or shitload of money

If you want one, PM me. I have 2x RE1 and 2x RE2 drives, limit one per person. Just pay shipping ($5 USA only).

all gone / claimed

Skate! Long time no see, hows it been going man?

Pretty good dude, thanks for asking. Bought a house just over a year ago, been busy with that, so not much forum time. Just getting around finally to having my cabs in a good game rotation with the quarantine time.

Did I miss anything good?

If I meet OG status I’d love to grab one. Shit’ll make some nice YT content with it. I’ve been looking for a new multi.

Sending pm

Thanks Joe.

All 4 free Ringedge multi's have been claimed and are in the mail today. Thanks everyone for playing.

To the dudes who got RE1 drives, you may need to upgrade to 2GB ram (most likely your board game with 1GB). It's standard computer RAM, not too hard to find. I know DOA5 needs this upgrade, most of the other games don't. RE2 drive winnars, no worries here, your system should have enough RAM.

What is the back story on someone doing the deep six on this multi ROM?

the official story is that arcade-projects forums doesn't allow discussion of any hardware sega still supports, regardless of whether or not the mods sold/sell multi-games. Their claim for disallowing the discussion of reverse engineering is copyright, but forum mods aren't liable for discussion like that as long as they take stuff down if they get a takedown notice. Openly working on reverse engineering isn't illegal, but of course sharing roms is.

But basically they just don't want newer hardware discussed there in case sega cracks down on bootlegs.

Near a lake (lake MI) but not in the woods. We're in a pretty nice neighborhood here, lots of woods on the other side of the smaller lake (Muskegon lake).

We've got a winter sports park here that has outdoor skating and luge (yes, you can try luge here. It's basically south Canada minus the health care).

I'll have to take a few pics of the place for you all.

Glad to hear it. In the immoral words of Cosmic Smash, "have a blast!"
