Well it's time to sell my Tekken 5 machine. It's a fun machine, problem being I just acquired a sit down Crazy Taxi, and I have zero room left in my basement. So between all my cabs, this is the one that needs to make the sacrifice so I can do my Crazy Taxi-ing.

The machine itself is in great condition. Marquee is intact with no cracks or visible wear. Monitor is clean, crisp, and colorful. Control panel overlay is in good condition. The joysticks have been replaced with better balltops, but the originals are still included. The start buttons are original while the 1P and 2P buttons were replaced with concave buttons (I prefer them to convex). Inside of the machine is clean and has been well maintained.

Comes with a sizable stack of data cards (around 30). All coin mechs work and even the dollar changer/reader accepts money for data cards. Cam locks are included (they were simply taken out for ease of access).

PS2 controller ports on the back of the control panel. Machine can be easily upgraded to a Dark Resurrection. It can also be converted to a sit down style cab by taking out two bolts. Very easy to do and is nice is your prefer that style. Also comes with original instruction manual.

This is going to be a pickup only unless you live relatively close to Wichita, KS (zip code 67235). Freight is an option as well.

It's a pretty sweet little machine, and I kind of hate to let it go, but I need the room. Plus it would be better appreciated by a Tekken aficianado instead of me chopping it up.

Asking $850

Prefer cash but also up for arcade trades. Mainly looking for a Big Blue or a candy cab.

Pics of the machine.

Shoot me a PM or respond here if interested.

I approve of your desire to keep this thing in one piece. Best of luck with this sale and hopefully you can trade up to a nice 6 button cab!

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=206189 - More just a heads up that this machine isn't as easy to set-up Mame on than most. For whatever reason Namco or Sanwa decided that the monitor didn't need a comp sync on it as it only has vertical sync. Essentially it won't sync up to anything else until you add in a comp sync wire to the harness.

Beautiful machine and good luck with your sale. :D

I got the same machine, it's great to play on and has a great monitor. Good luck with the sale. It can also be converted to sit down (candy cab) height fairly easily.

Yea it does have an adjustable height setting which is nice. Though I haven't messed with the height as I'm an old school stand upper (sp?).

God I remember seeing this in the back of some failing "Mostly Skeeball and Crap Prize Games" Arcade in sit down form, really loved its overall look! Love seeing sit down cabs in the US. Good luck with your sale!

Yup it's an awesome machine. I wish I was a bigger Tekken fan because it's killer.

Man, that's a cool cab. Definitely nice to see it has the working bill-changer and dispenses cards. How cool is that? For $850, this thing is a steal. I have zero use for it, but kudos for trying to find it a good home. This one is in too good of shape to hack for another project.

Thanks, it's much appreciated. If I had more room in my arcade, she'd be a keeper. Sadly there's just no room. My 6-slot is a big bertha of lovin'.

To celebrate St. Patty's Day, I'll help you save a little green. Today only it can be yours for $750! Tomorrow the price goes back up to $850.

Bump. I will be traveling to Oklahoma this weekend for a business trip and can bring it along with me. If anyone near or around the Oklahoma City or Tulsa area is interested this would save you some gas.

How much is shipping from Kansas to Cali?

Screw the oil pipeline, we need an arcade pipeline.
