Everyone who's bought something should have gotten an email with tracking from paypal. Dropping them all off tomorrow. Only one straggler that I've emailed forgot to put what the hell they bought in the paypal notes. But other than that one, everything is out. I know a few of you have PM'd me about games that are in Canada or Europe. I'll get back to you, but like I said, US is my focus right now due to my schedule. If USPS let me ship internationally online there would be zero hesitation. But as it is, I have to stand in line at the post office and fill out customs declarations...so it's kind of a bitch.

Sidenote: kind of shocked there are so many shmups left

It's tax season. If this were any other month those carts would all be gone by now. I think they're all fair prices, but we're in a time where MVS cart value is fluctuating wildly. There's a strikers 1945 Plus cart on eBay right now for $110, but completed listings put it at $150 on average, so who knows what the actual value is. We really should update the prie guide at least every 6 months at this rate.

In my humble opinion, if the OP opened sales to Canadians (or other countries) he probably would have liquidated more of his games outright. Every country has different customs, policies, and laws, so not everyone is going to be effected by tighter budgets. He could open it up to more countries now, but I suspect it might be harder to move games since it isn't exactly the nicest feeling to be the "backup" guy (just getting scraps that couldn't sell locally). But that's just my friendly opinion though. I'm glad games are finding good homes! :-)

EDIT: And yes, his prices are really fair. +1 karma! I think I would agree given the pricing flux these days, updating the guide would be a good idea!

totally feel you man, it's a thorn in my side as well. I'm backed into a corner though - I have a job and very little free time. Couple that with no real urgency to sell these things and you get a taste of where I am coming from. I've only come to this situation as well with experience opening to sales to INTL peeps in the past and getting burned. There is no way to quickly/accurately estimate shipping costs short of making 2 trips to the post office as well. Get estimate, PM person, wait for payment, fill out customs, go back to post office, stand in line, etc. It's a huge pain for me.

I'm not trying to get you to be on my side about this, just wanted to speak up and let you know where this comes from. It's not just a short sighted silly thing I decided to do.

Ya, no worries. I totally sympathise with your position. :-) At least in Canada, our postal system allows you to find a rate and fill out customs forms online, so it saves us from the double trip. But i don't know if USPS has that ability or not (It still might be a manual pen and paper process).

And you decided you'd rather visit the PO twice than get a quote, pay for shipping and print a label online?

5lb package using my own box to Ontario

Cheaper options? Not on this site...as I've said, been there done that

pixeljunkie has stated, in his own sales thread, he is only selling domestically. He doesn't need to justify his reasons. It's his stuff to sell in the way he sees fit.

He has also adhered to all posting rules within the marketplace. The end.

I feel you bro. I love hitting up the post office and just dropping off a Pre-Paid package. I try to avoid shipping international for the same reasons. I usually have to do this during my Lunch Break at work, fill out the customs paper work, and wait in some ridiculous line. Unless it's for a solid member, I usually avoid shipping international. I also try to avoid buying international except Japan, unless it's something I've been looking for for awhile and the price is really good.

Call your PO. Most likely the dick delivering your mail scanned it but it sat on the truck.

Or it got stolen.

Unfortunately this. Hopefully you still get it. I've had some scan on Friday but they let it sit until they feel like dropping them off. Keep me posted.

This has happened to me more times than I would have liked. The last time I got into a shouting match with the mailman and said "I hope UPS delivers your severance package, you prick!"

the last 2 addresses ive lived at have been a bitch to receive mail. One of them my home address was on Emmott but physically the house was on San Antonio St. So half the time amazon shit came in like 2-3 days later than it was supposed to, defeating the reason to have prime. And dont get me started on delivery food. Plus the hosue was on a dark ass dirt road with no street lights. Rape central

Now my address is on Katy Freeway, its a town house. Walnut bend is on both sides of me, and just 2 rows of townhomes share my address everything else surrounding us is Walnut bend. So ive been having a headache with shipments for the last 4 fkn years

I will say, making friends with the postal worker helps. In most cases that isnt possible. But at the dirt house it was a Puerto Rican lady, after she saw my face and name she remembered. SHe even delivered a package for me at my work address(which was down the street) Guess it helps to be handsome....
