This is one of my favorite games of all time and I wouldn't mind paying or trading for it even if it is a boot.

Just sell it for whatever you bought it for, I'm sure no one is gonna have a problem with that and I'm sure you didn't over pay for it to begin with. Boots are always a curveball when it comes to prices.
