Honestly I didn't know, and am willing to do better on the price. I was trying to do a search on the forums and the most recent one I found was 120, but from what I could tell didn't include shipping. Definitely willing to take offers, mmsadda if you're interested feel free to pm me an offer. Thanks!

The KLOVer who started that CAPCOM price guide PM'd me a while back and told me that the guide was a one time deal and that he's not maintaining it.

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=187906&highlight=cps2+price

... You aren't that far off according to the guide. $125 for a minty one. I think they have been going for a bit less. ....

Lately, I've seen some CAPCOM boards reach new highs and new lows. In any event, IMHO, $70~$170.00 (shipped) seems to be about right for a BLUE ALPHA 3 baord.

1. $070 (shipped) Capcom Street Fighter Alpha 3 CP System 2 Arcade Game B Board II
2. $135 (shipped) Capcom Street Fighter Alpha 3 100% Working Blue USA B Board Jamma PCB RARE
3. $170 (shipped) Capcom Street Fighter Alpha 3 100% Working Blue USA B Board Jamma PCB RARE
4. $140 (shipped) CPS2 Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Raiden DX PCBs
5. $110 (shipped) Street Fighter Alpha 3 US $110 & Ajax $60 SHIPPED

My 2 cents is that no CPS 2 fighters should reach over 100, except SSFIIT anniversary edition of course, but that's just me

Remember people a object is only worth how much your willing to pay for it. If its more than your willing to spend does not mean its automatically unreasonable. When I sell boards on these forums I use the force to fell the atmosphere before I price and take into account the actual board(s), $140 shipped is more reasonable. A alpha 3 is worth $120 min without shipping and if you tossed a $100 counter offer at me for a phoenixed blue board I would be offended.

We can still edit the price guide. No one wants to do it daily though. If a price trends one way for a while we can change it. In my opinion CPS2 prices have been pretty stable over the last year or so for almost all games. One or two people overpaying or underpaying isn't enough to warrant a price change. Either way its a guide for a general idea of price. Not the CPS price bible. So in the case of the OP wanting a general idea of the price to ask, I pointed him in a pretty solid direction IMO.

I'm just saying: Even if the price guide's "suggested high and low prices" are viewed as a HIGH and LOW average prices for a CPS-2 board, then the "$125 (shipped?) suggested [Average] high price" for Alpha 3 is closer to the $125~$128 Average price (shipped) for these 5 Blue Alpha 3 boards over the past few months. In any event, I'm sure that if someone found some more Blue A3 board sales info, for the last 8 and 1/2 months, then a better picture of the market would emerge since the price guide was made. 'Cause, IMHO, so far, it looks to me like this fun board is getting popular.

Alpha 3 is a great game and the blue board pops up much less frequently than the green one. I agree with mainman, $140 shipped is more than reasonable. @ incrediblehark, a photo of the board might help, like panda's saying, condition of the board does matter to many buyers.

I did put up an offer, but it wasn't meant to offend anyone. But I would pay more for a battery version as they seem more "stock" to me. Now that the boards can be phoenixed, I would rather maintain the batteries and phoenix as a last resort. It seems as though "legit" boards resell faster. Maybe its just me.

Battery vs phoenix, this has been discussed numerous times. It's all a matter of preference in my opinion. I prefer phoenixed boards 'cause acid damage sucks. I have a few battery boards, but that's because most do not have phoenix fixes available yet or the boards are inexpensive enough that I could easily replace them if the battery explodes. If you have a battery board, store it label side down so if the battery leaks, the acid will leak onto the plastic shell and not the pcb. Mainman posted a nice photo of an acid damaged AVP. Good arguement for phoenixing.

I agree Alpha 3 is one of the higher priced fighters and definably worth over $100 but $150 seemed a little high to me.

What I'd like to know, is where exactly do people find those $175 Cadillacs and Dinosaurs boards. The prices are all pretty much spot on except for one of the rarest board.

i would think a battery board is worth more due to it being original

I prefer to play on unmodified CAPCOM factory boards. However, I will say, that if one of my battery boards dies, then I will get it revived so I can keep playing it. And I'd probably end up trading it for another battery board so I can play that one instead. But, hey, that's just me.

Oh, I haven't told you yet. Recently, a wave of cheap DASH boards just went through the market.

WOF (dead, shipped): $030,
PUN (dead, shipped): $035, and
C&D (working?, shipped): $100

No joke.
