Prices are Paypal Gift (add 4% if using paypal payment) and don't include shipping. I'll entertain reasonable offers on any of this stuff.

Street Fighter 3 Third Strike cart, disc, and art set. Includes: cart (new battery installed by Capcom Japan in May '10,) disc w/ case, marquee, and move strips (all original Japanese.) Marquee has damage in one corner, probably about 1/2" triangle. Move strips are perfect. (No motherboard, disc drive or simms) $250

Atomiswave motherboard $150
Guilty Gear X 1.5 (Us region with marquee and manual) $350
Dolphin Blue (with JP copied art) $200
Metal Slug 6 bootleg $50

Sega Naomi 2 / Initial D version 3 setup
Separated out:
Motherboard $160
Initial D v3 disc and chip $100
GD Rom drive $100
GD Rom data cable $20
Naomi Comm (Communication) board $25 each or $40 for a pair.
...think that's all the components, if there are more I'll add them in.

Chocovader Contactee JAMMA PCB - with copied art - Namco - awesome Wario Ware or Mario Party-esque collection of alien abduction themed mini-games. $100

Interest check on a Third Strike kit (minute box and motherboard.)

Price dropped on Chocovader from $125 to $100.

Awesome! I recall from those CPS1.5 boards your work is top-notch! Can't wait to get my hands on one of those CPS3 multicarts.

Just to clarify, Third Strike is the disc (in original case), working cart (last serviced by Capcom about 2.5 years ago), and art stuff (marquee, move strips.)

Does $300 sound fair for that at this point? I know a hacked bios cart is a cheaper way to go at this point, but figure this still holds some appeal for a serious collector, and the original artwork is a big plus.

I think everyone is going the way of Darksoft...too damn risky otherwise. Unless you have the skills to replace that battery yourself. Plus, as long as the rom is running on original hardware, then it's really not emulation.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did Capcom charge you to replace that battery?

By the way, $300 is more than fair. In fact, if I wouldn't have bought a system a little while back, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I'm surprised as hell that no one has bit on this yet. Best of luck.

I had the previous owner (from Japan) send it in for a battery change before purchasing it. I think Capcom cart refreshes (or battery swaps) cost around $150, including postage, and you need a middleman in Japan to do it (if memory serves correctly.)

At this point, it's roughly the same price to buy a standard SH2 cart from Mitsurugi-W

What else is needed to play the game?

WTF!?...$150 to swap the battery...Are you serious? That's insane - it's literally a 10 minute job if you've done it before.

I think that's including the shipping cost to have it shipped to Capcom Japan and back (roughly $30-$40 each way I'd imagine.)

Still seems pretty ridiculous though. Plus the previous owner was from Japan anyway. Domestic shipping for that little cart can't be anywhere near that amount. Seems like Capcom was making quite a killing reviving all their dead shit over the years.

Ah, you're right. Didn't catch that part about the previous owner being from Japan. Lol. Capcom was raking in the bucks.

I didn't actually pay the previous owner of mine to have the battery replaced (or cart reflashed) - I bought it like that. I've heard from others, though, that $150 is usually what it costs, including the shipping both ways, to have it done. It could've been as little as $100; it was about 3 years ago that I was told that, so I may well not be remembering correctly.
