To start, all the capacitors in the power supply and on the motherboard have been replaced with high temp Nichicon caps.
Terra Onion MODE, Laser Bear SD card mounting tray, and mobius strip technologies ext 5V adapter board have been installed.
It's got a brand new Western Digital Blue 1 TB SSD hard drive filled with every single US,JP, and PAL game for the console.
A new Sandisk 32 GB SD card with English translations, prototype games, and save game manager software also.
The system has also been installed in a new skeleton case, and I am including a brand new still sealed (not the one in the pics obviously) Retrobit clear wireless saturn controller as well.
comes with composite AV cable and power cable.
Ideally you would buy a component cable and a 4mb ram cart and then you would have the perfect Saturn.
Only reason I am selling this is because I had so much fun building my first personal one, I figured I would make another one so someone else can enjoy. If I get a lot of interest I may keep making more of them, for some reason I am finding this pretty enjoyable currently.

Would like to trade it for Neo Geo AES titles.
If somebody wants to purchase it, $900 plus shipping.
If you have a working model 2 saturn you want to offer in the deal I will knock 125
off the price.

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!

reported for straight up PORN.

Very nice.

Good luck w the sale man!

Curious - is recapping the Satty a job for a 'real' solderer, or can some jackass named DD with very little soldering experience make it happen?

It takes a lot of time without a desoldering station. I would say having some experience is definitely helpful so you dont lift a trace or overheat something while wrestling with removing the old solder and caps

That Saturn looks awesome.

It certainly is awesome. I've had this Saturn for a few days now, and I'm loving it.

Charley does great work! And he even helped me troubleshoot a cart slot issue that worked in this console and my long-time Saturn that's been spotty reading my Action Replay cart for a few years now.

The MODE interface is intuitive and a breeze to use. Folders, images, and games only take a few seconds to load and seem to look and play just like the real thing. It looks like I can finally clear out the stacks of Saturn games taking up space in my game room. This was my first step into the world of ODEs, and I'll probably go the same route for Dreamcast, GameCube, and other consoles in the near future. On top of the space savings, you really can't beat the convenience factor.

Anyways, I can't recommend this enough if/when max 330 mega decides to build more of these. Thanks again!

Although I could never convince myself to spend that much, if I had the money burning a hole in pocket, I would absolutely pick anything this guy modded. This thing is fucking beautiful

So, just got mine in yesterday. Been really nice to fire up Mega Man 8, probably my favorite game on the system. (It's all about the Saturn exclusive Tenguman remix) Charlie does great work and, in my case, was willing to do an installment payment system while we were waiting on Mode to ship. Something to consider if you don't want to spend that much all at once.

Really looking forward to whatever he has plans for next. I hear it may be Wonderswan or, NGPC related.
