Bad Dudes...Time Warp. Oh noes, ninja have discovered time travel and are trying to kidnap important world leaders everywhen! Think TMNT: Turtles in Time. Are you a bad enough dude to punch hundreds of shinobi in the face in order to save Julius Caesar and Abraham Lincoln?
What If? This would require collaboration between multiple big publishers. Just like the Marvel Comics concept, take important events/stories in various games and explore them with different outcomes or perspectives. What if Aerith or Nei didn't die? What if benevolent Dr. Wily and his ultimate creation, Protoman, struggled against the evil Dr. Light and his army of Megamen? What if Marion responded to being gut punched by beating the shit out of the gang members and going after Shadow Boss herself?
