My type x2 came today safe and sound. It had the RCA to 3.5mm adapter with it as well as a DVI to VGA adapter. The case said p4 chip on it with 512ram. The motherboard though says revision .01B which is suppose to be a duo core processor. Not sure which is in mine as the post screen just shows the vid card. I went ahead and pulled out the 256mb ram sticks and put in 2 512mb sticks as one of the games on my multi HD requires 1gig. Looks great running on my noir clone cab even though I had it set to 480p vid. If you flip dip switch 2 on it changes it to 720p. The fans in mine are stupid loud so I will probably switch them out for some lower decibel fans. (Think old cps2 rattle fan x3 for loudness haha). Runs absolutely great and im loving it so far. One question though, is there anywhere to get the metal Tray that plugs the hole on the board where the hard drive mounts?

Having it sealed should cut down on the noise a bit to and help with proper airflow.
Here's the ram I used

Late to the party getting mine setup, but working great!
Thanks again--
Any chance you had any spare PCB mount brackets as mine seems to have been without?
(or anyone here have a spare set they don't want?)

I have been messing with mine too lately. The board was extremely noisy because of the wore out fans. I decided to change them out with these and now it's much quieter.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1440588213.499107.jpg

What do they look like? I have a lot of miscellaneous mounting clips...

Oh no - sorry, thought they looked like the right pieces. I have no need of them in either case - so keep / sell / donate...

Were all those fans just drop in replacements for the existing ones? The 120mm is for the case and the 70mm for the CPU cooler? I was thinking of replacing the whole CPU cooler but was having a hard time finding something that would fit. I need to upgrade my set as well.

Yes those two are drop ins, the tiny ones that go into the psu have power wires that run the length of the psu so I had to snip and solder those. If you wanted you could fashion up some extension cables as well or buy some. I don't hear my setup when it's inside the cab now. The decibel level of my stock ones were as bad as some of the worst cps2 fans I have ever heard. Except there was 4 of them running together :-)

Thank you for the reply! The CPU and case fan are so loud I can't hear if the power supply fans are loud as well. Mine are definitely louder the CPS2 fan...another one I need to replace.
